Do you have significant knowledge of accounting codes, business policies and procedures involved in P2P processes, and do you eager to have the responsibility to ensure the timely and accurate processing and payment of invoices and expenses to suppliers and colleagues and assists with their inquiries and queries? Then you might be our new Senior Procure-to-Pay Specialist in our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) department.

Your responsibilities as Senior P2P Specialist

As Senior P2P Specialist in Codan you aim to get a whole end-to-end view of the business and understand how Finance ties up and you see the links between key issues and solutions. Building effective relationships, handling a wide array of stakeholders and driving collaborations and communication is natural for you. You are confident and eager to learn from colleagues, while improving processes and methods when you see opportunities to do so. You are a process champion with a constructive attitude towards change.

Your responsibilities also include:

- Provide day-to-day P2P support to a large, geographically dispersed group of end users
- Provide assistance to internal and external partners to research problems, questions and issues related to Invoices, purchase orders and compliance
- Provide analytical support i.e. troubleshooting, initiation of trouble reports and detailed documentation of problems for Help Desk, managers and for the user community in the group for which the Senior Specialist provides services
- Provide key performance indicator (KPI) metrics and other reporting as needed by the P2P department
- Actively working to enhance knowledge of P2P system, processes and best practice
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and actively play a role in driving efficiency
- Support the Head of Procure-to-Pay by completing assigned work and responding to user needs
- Actively partner with the Head of Procure-to-Pay to set and review priorities to ensure deadlines are met
- Commitment to excellence in customer service, when interacting with business partners, suppliers and colleagues

We are looking for a person who has

As a person you are able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment. You have a agile mindset to manage competing priorities while moving from task to task. Our preferred candidate also:

- Have a min. of 4 years relevant P2P experience (Account Payables, Travel & Expense)
- Have proven experience in General Accounting, Tax, Risk Management & Control
Are familiar with procurement, accounts payable and general finance/business best practices and interdependencies
- Understands P2P concepts
- Have experience in working with Business Process Outsourcing
- Actively participates in cross-functional change
- Are able to influence others to optimize work in accordance with system and procedures
- Have good communicating skills in English as well as in Danish - oral and written​
- Knowledge of AX is a plus

Our Procure-to-Pay (P2P) department is part of Finance Operations. The team consists of an Offshore part, situated in Noida, and an Onshore Part, in Scandinavia. The role as Senior Procure-to-Pay Specialist is Nordic, based in Copenhagen and travelling will be required.
