Then you could be the Finance Governance & Control Manager we at RSA Scandi, Codan Forsirking are looking for.
As Codan’s new Finance Governance & Control Manager you take responsibility for building and creating the finance governance function across all jurisdictions, managing oversight of financial risk and promoting a culture of good compliance and risk awareness. You will lead the annual governance cycle including risk profile, risk appetite and risk assessments, including;
- Coordinate risk assessment with internal and external audit on behalf of finance
Coordinate and lead operational risk management processes e.g. annual operational risk analysis, operational control validation, risk catalogue, ORSA reporting, business continuity management activity.
- Ensuring regulatory and company/group requirements are met and that there is suitable evidence to support this. Any implications of the proposals and any issues around implementation are understood and appropriately communicated.
- Working with the business to embed risk awareness so that it can be part of the BAU decision making processes and activities and ensure that the business’ exposure remains aligned with their risk appetite.
Credibility and impact are vital to this role in order to gain the “buy-in” from and be able to influence the business.
What Will You Bring to Codan
This is a challenging new role for you who have an insurance risk or compliance background with experience in working with senior stakeholders and change management. You have a detailed understanding of a control infrastructure and you are able to develop and implement a governance framework within a multi-jurisdictional business. You hold a master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent and you are fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages
